We're moving!
Since August 2006, we have communicated our love for Farmers’ Markets to our growing and supportive membership through FreshNews and this web site. After careful consideration and shifting priorities, we have decided to take down the web site and concentrate on the daily Facebook Page postings. We hope you’ll sign up and continue the dialogue. Here’s what you can post:
Market photos and videos, media links about nutrition, fresh food, farming techniques, unique market offerings, opinion pieces supporting local, fresh sustainable agriculture and recommendations based on personal experience. Since Farmers’ Markets are a worldwide phenomenon, when you travel or are in touch with markets throughout the world, please post what you know so others can learn from you.
Facebook is crowd sourced. That’s the good news and the bad. Good because you have a channel now to express your delight or disappointment to a group that is predisposed to liking Farmers’ Markets. The bad news is that sometimes remarks can offend or reflect poor judgment. We encourage the former and discourage the latter.
We hope you will continue the journey along with us and keep the energy flowing. Our communities, our health and our sustainability depend on it.
Sincerely,
Mike Lee, Publisher and Producer
